Hidden Valley Resort is an award-winning 5-star holiday park located alongside the Avonmore River in Rathdrum and is one of Ireland’s most popular camping and caravan sites. There are several accommodation choices including Boutique Self Catering Cabins, Glamping Mini-Lodges, Caravan & Motorhome Bays and Tent Pitches.
For Glampers, there are 5 Glamping Mini Lodges which accommodate up to 5 people, a Loft House Lodge which accommodates up to 6 people, a Boutique Lodge with space for 6 and a XL Boutique Lodge for up to 8 guests. These are a great alternative to camping without pitching that tent!
There are no bathrooms or kitchens in the glamping lodges, but the amenity block is just a few steps away, which provides toilets, showers, sinks, laundry, camper’s kitchen. If you are renting a glamping lodge, then you must supply your own sleeping equipment such as pillows, sleeping bags, linens, duvets, and towels.
Hidden Valley is a quiet, family-run park catering for couples and families with children and does not cater to those looking to stay up at night past the strict family curfew of 10 p.m.
Onsite, you’ll find a huge array of family-friendly activities include Splash Valley Aqua Park, laser tag, playground, boating lake with water activities and much more. The town of Rathdrum is a short stroll away and has several well stocked mini-markets and shops.
The Lakehouse Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlour onsite at Hidden Valley is open daily for snacks and refreshments.
